Atze's Corner Wines offers a cellar door experience that's a little different. Set high in the middle of the valley, the elevated balcony looks out across the vineyards in a long, open sweep down the valley. It's a view you don't find at many cellar doors, and one that naturally invites you to slow down and stay a while.
Visitors are welcome to enjoy a guided wine tasting or settle in with one of Atze's Corner's generous platters, thoughtfully put together local produce and designed to be shared. It's the sort of place where a quick stop often turns into an easy afternoon with a glass of wine and something good to eat.
When you visit, you're welcomed by the people who are genuinely part of Atze's Corner. Family, winemakers, and close friends who know the vineyards well and enjoy sharing the stories behind the wines.
Atze's Corner Wines is a family-run Barossa vineyard, set amongst the vines that have supported six generations of the Kalleske family's farming history. Andy Kalleske is the sixth generation to work the land alongside his parents, Barb and John.
The vineyards include old Shiraz plantings from 1912 and 1951, still worked season after season and producing wines of depth and character.
