Ballycroft Vineyard and Cellars
'Small Winemaker, Big Wines'
Enjoy an intimate, unique and always informative cellar door experience at one of the smallest family owned wineries in the Barossa.
Your host Joe Evans invites you to join him for a personal, guided wine session available everyday between 11am and 4pm. Joe is the winemaker, viticulturist and everything in between and with his wife Sue is carefully tending his grapes from vine to bottle.
The vineyard is rain fed, the winery is solar powered and the delivery van is an 100% electric Nissan Leaf named 'Zero' that is charged by solar during the day and plugged into the winery and house to provide power at night.
Ballycroft 's wine is made as a reflection of their sustainable vineyard, the terroir and the individual vintage. They let the fruit tell the story.
Bookings are highly recommended to avoid disappointment as being a working vineyard Joe may be away from site tending his grapes.
