Otherness - wine bar, restaurant, cellar door, delicatessen and bottle shop.
Located in Angaston, arguably the prettiest historical town in the Barossa, which has quietly become a mecca for both cultural and culinary excellence.

Within the dining room of the ever-surprising Otherness, Sam Smith and Emily Thomas present a constantly changing menu of informal, produce-driven dishes which generously celebrate the Barossa's freshest community-focused seasonal abundance.

Wines wearing the Otherness label are all 'passion projects' crafted by seven of our most renowned local winemakers, working in collaboration with Grant Dickson.

Narrative-driven wine tastings

Local and international wines to enjoy in, or to take away

Otherness, more than anything, is about hospitality. Real hospitality. We invite you to discover why many of our regular customers refer to us as their second home.
