Paisley Wines
Barossa
Paisley Wines is the result of a love affair with Barossa wine by long-time winemaker Derek Fitzgerald and his wife Kirsten. They live with their daughter in a hilltop home on their Angaston estate.
With 15 acres of Shiraz, Fiano and Mataro, this Eden Valley property forms the bedrock of the Paisley brand. They also source old vine fruit from generational growers in the Barossa region.
The story behind the brand name is interwoven with history. Kirsten’s great-great grandfather came to Adelaide from Paisley, a town in the west central Lowlands of Scotland. The paisley pattern features on the labels for the Fabric range of wines.
Other ranges include Mixed by DJ Deadly, Celtic Mythology and Texture Single Vineyard Shiraz Series. Bold new label designs and the use of alternative varieties mean Paisley is anything but traditional and reflects the couple’s approach to life.
