Straub Estate

Located only 10 minutes south of Clare, Straub Estate’s beautiful vineyard has been established for close to 60 years, growing a dry Shiraz grape variety. Only 1 km down the road from Skillogalee and 2 km away from Mitchell Wines, these are truly some of the best wineries in the Clare Valley. The Sevenhill bakery and pub are also just around the corner, so there are plenty of options for dining in or grabbing a quick bite to eat. Within the property, there are plenty of shaded areas along with a variety of spots to park a caravan or set up a tent. No matter what your setup is, we are able to find something to suit everyone. Please note that some sites at the back of the property will suit an off-road caravan or 4WD much better. We are slowly working on opening these areas to make them more accessible, along with adding driveways and gravel paths. We will be homing some very friendly sheep and alpacas in the winter months, who will happily roam around the property.
