Camp Coodlie is a 22-acre off-grid bush campground, set among peaceful coastal mallee scrubland at Coodlie Park Eco Retreat. It is perfect for travellers who love wide-open spaces, simple living, campfires, wildlife, and unforgettable night skies.

Designed to be rustic, natural and low-impact, Camp Coodlie offers unpowered bush camping sites with access to shared facilities, including a communal camp kitchen, compost toilets, bush-bucket showers, communal and individual firepits for seasonal use, recycling stations and open space to slow down and reconnect with nature.

This is a true back-to-basics camping experience, so guests should come prepared with their own drinking water, toilet paper, lighting, bedding and camping essentials. Facilities are simple and shared, and nature is part of the stay, including dust, wind, insects, wildlife, uneven ground and changing weather.

Located between Venus Bay and Elliston, Camp Coodlie is a great base for exploring Talia Caves, Talia Beach, Mt Camel, Venus Bay, Lake Newland and the rugged west coast of the Eyre Peninsula.

By night, the Bortle Class 1 dark skies offer incredible stargazing, making Camp Coodlie the perfect winter bush getaway for campers, families, road trippers and nature lovers.
