Located approximately 15km from Minnipa, South Australia, Pildappa Rock Campground is a privately owned bush camping area connected to the Council-managed Pildappa Rock Recreation Reserve. Access is via the loop road around the Rock, and no bookings are required, with sites suitable for caravans, motorhomes, camper trailers, tents, and group camping. The campground offers wide open spaces and scenic views of the Gawler Ranges and Pildappa Rock, providing a peaceful outback experience.
As the campground operates on a working farm, visitors are asked to respect the environment and local operations. Owners ask that all pets are kept on a leash at all times due to nearby livestock, machinery, wildlife, and fox baiting.
A communal fire pit is provided for use outside of fire danger season (October to April, annually), and a 10km/h speed limit applies throughout the campground. Visitors are also asked to take all rubbish with them, and note that motorbikes and firearms are not permitted.
