Point Lowly is a haven for fishing, boating, beach walks and photography, with rock fishing spots and a nearby boat ramp providing easy access to the water. During winter, visitors can experience the world-renowned Australian Giant Cuttlefish aggregation, with opportunities to snorkel, dive or view the cuttlefish from a glass-bottom boat tour.

Facilities include ample parking, an amenities block with accessible toilets and hot showers, a children's playground, shaded picnic areas with free BBQs, picnic tables and Wi-Fi charging stations — everything needed for a peaceful and memorable seaside escape.

The campground includes five designated camping areas — Snapper, Kingfish, Whiting, Garfish and Tommy Ruff — with a total of 18 campsites available nightly. Bookings are managed through the online BookEasy platform, providing convenient 24-hour access to reservations and helping ensure fair access to sites.
