Ada Ryan Gardens is a beautiful open garden space in Whyalla, ideally located between Cudmore and Watson Terraces and seamlessly linked to the Whyalla Foreshore, creating an expansive and tranquil coastal parkland.
Set among beautifully maintained lawns and mature shade trees, the gardens provide the perfect setting for relaxation, recreation and family outings. Rich in local history, the gardens are named after Ada Ryan, wife of former City Commission Chairman Charles Ryan. The site was originally Whyalla's first cemetery, later relocated in August 1918 to its present location on Broadbent Terrace.
