Smooth Pool is a beautiful natural spot located along the Westall Way Loop, just south of Streaky Bay on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. It features a series of calm, rock-lined pools formed by a flat granite shelf. These pools are perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing by the water.

At low tide, you can explore the rock pools and see small marine life like crabs, little fish, seaweed, and even the occasional starfish. The water is clear and sheltered, making it a great place for families and nature lovers.

The area offers amazing views, with the peaceful pools set against the powerful waves of the Southern Ocean. It's also a great spot for taking photos or watching for local wildlife.

Smooth Pool is accessed via the unsealed Westall Way Loop, which turns off from the sealed Sceale Bay Road. It's about 9 km south of Streaky Bay.
There are no facilities at Smooth Pool, so bring everything you need, including water, food, and sun protection.
The area is not patrolled, so please be careful if swimming or exploring, especially around the tide.

Smooth Pool is a peaceful and scenic stop on the Eyre Peninsula – perfect for a relaxing break surrounded by nature.
