Streaky Bay - Back Beach is a popular surf beach for both locals and visitors due to its close proximity to the town of Streaky Bay. Located just 8 km from Town Centre along a sealed road.

It's a great spot for surfers enjoying the reef breaks in front of and north of the Back Beach car park.
Back Beach is a popular spot for families enjoying the rock pools, it's the perfect refreshing place to visit at high tide.

It's also a great location for beach fishing, with deep holes dominating the beach.

The main beach is not recommended for swimming as it's exposed to persistent higher waves and dominated by strong permanent reef controlled rips, and in the north beach rips.

Strong confident swimmers can access the southern beaches during normal low wave conditions.
