Every year, the Streaky Bay Foreshore comes alive with the New Year's Eve Festival, a much-loved community event perfect for locals and visitors of all ages. Set against the stunning backdrop of the bay, this family-friendly celebration includes kids' entertainment, food vans, live music, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere leading into the new year.
The highlight of the evening is the spectacular fireworks display, launched directly from the iconic Streaky Bay Jetty. The reflections over the water make it an unforgettable way to ring in the new year.
Bring a picnic rug, enjoy local food and drinks, let the kids enjoy games and activities, and take in the festive coastal vibe. The event typically kicks off in the early evening and runs through to midnight.
