Moore's Boat Ramp - Streaky Bay

Eyre Peninsula

General Service
Moore's Boat Ramp is the main boat launching facility in Streaky Bay, located about 7 kilometres from the town centre on Cape Bauer Road. This well-maintained site is a favourite for both locals and visitors wanting to enjoy a day on the water, whether it's for fishing, boating, or simply exploring the coastline.

The ramp features a solid four-lane concrete launch area with two floating walkway pontoons, making launching and retrieving boats smooth and safe. To the left as you enter, there is a smaller concrete ramp designed specifically for lightweight and smaller vessels.

The facility includes ample car and trailer parking, as well as convenient amenities such as public toilets and a fish cleaning station. Please note that camping is not permitted at the site.

To use the ramp, a valid permit must be displayed on your vehicle's dashboard. Permits are available as daily, weekly, monthly, or annual options and can be purchased from authorised local vendors including the Streaky Bay Visitor Centre (21 Bay Road), the District Council of Streaky Bay Office (29 Alfred Terrace), and Killas Streaky Bay (48 Wells Street), which is open daily.

Moore's Boat Ramp provides reliable, easy access to Streaky Bay's beautiful coastal waters—ideal for anyone ready to launch into their next marine adventure.
