Their local artisan, Luisa Stocco is based in (Encounter Bay, South Australia). She works in ceramics, textiles, painting and sculpture. She employs a process-based approach, focusing on material properties and exploring themes related to the human relationship with the earth.

Luisa has academic and professional experience in education, gender studies, visual arts, archaeology, museology, and arts psychotherapy. She has participated in solo and group exhibitions, and her work is held in private collections.

Come and visit Victor Harbor Regional Gallery to enjoy her artwork showcased in the main entry room and old bakery.

The Gallery is run by a cooperative of local artists located in the old historic bakery building opposite the Victor Harbor Steam Train Railway station. The old baking oven is on display at the back of the gallery where you may find that perfect gift.
