Jo is an Illustrative Artist drawing many forms from portraits, characters, unusual abstracts & life drawings with a focus on using mediums like graphite pencils and charcoal sticks. The last six months she has included a mix of charcoal with a little watercolour.

As a young girl she loved drawing and her favourite subject was Art & History classes. But life took a totally different direction managing and owning businesses that kept her too busy and having children.

Jo's love of drawing started when she semi-retired, mainly as a hobby. Watching many tutorials, joining art groups online and listening to other artist's advice all over the world, Jo slowly built her freehand skills up.
Creating drawings of fun, mystery, emotions, thoughts, characters and places. My biggest love of drawing is 'emotions' mainly through using the eyes expressing how people feel.

Come and visit Victor Harbor Regional Gallery to enjoy her artwork showcased in the main entry room and other works within the old heritage building & bakery.

The Gallery is run by a cooperative of local artists located in the old historic bakery building opposite the Steam Train Railway station. The old baking oven is on display at the back of the gallery where you may find that perfect gift.
