Kay Brothers Winery

With one of the best views in McLaren Vale, Kay Brothers is a must on your visit to the region. Enjoy a tasting flight, or just a glass of wine with a local platter of food, and take in a piece of McLaren Vale history.

The oldest winery in McLaren Vale still in founding family hands, Kay Brothers are most famous for their Block 6 Shiraz. Kay Brothers also have a Petit Blanc, Rosé, Grenache, Nero d'Avola, Merlot, Mataro, Shiraz and Cabernet, alongside some pretty amazing Fortifieds. All the wines are sourced from the estate vineyard, and made in the original heritage stone cellars and basket press.

Kay Brothers welcomes up to eight people for a range of paid tasting flights in their Cellar Door. Groups from 9 to 16 people are welcome between 11:00am and 2:00pm every day for a guided tasting experience, including their best-selling wines. Their staff will guide guests through their tasting menu when you arrive. Please allow one hour for the tasting experiences. Groups under 8 do not require a booking and are welcome to decide on their tasting experience on arrival. Local produce is available daily to create your own cheese and charcuterie platter.
