In an exciting collaboration between Mural Nomad and the Gladstone Community Development & Tourism Association (GCDTA), the historic Gladstone Subway comes back to life.

Patrycja Hannagan, also known as Mural Nomad, is the visionary artist behind the transformative Gladstone Subway project. Embracing the therapeutic essence of nature, Patrycja advocates for reconnection through art. Her expansive installations, showcased nationwide across various mediums, breathe life into remote communities, transforming them into captivating tourist destinations.

With a passion for blending artistry and community engagement, Mural Nomad has brought to life the essence of Gladstone’s heritage through stunning visual narratives. Drawing inspiration from local history and culture, Mural Nomad’s work is not only visually appealing, but also fosters a deeper connection between residents and their surroundings.

Funded by the Gladstone Community Services Club, Gladstone Art Committee, Northern Areas Council, and an array of dedicated community volunteers from the GCDTA, this endeavour represents a collective effort to breathe new life into this local landmark.
