The ideal place for a wellness getaway, Island Alive is a secluded guesthouse sanctuary nestled in native pine trees only 15 minutes from the Penneshaw Ferry terminal on Kangaroo Island.
Design your ultimate relaxation and rejuvenation experience with a choice of services such as guided breathwork, ice baths in nature, forest bathing and picnics or hot/cold contrast therapy in the traditional sauna. With an abundance of wildlife, marked nature walks and bordering a Conservation Park, nature provides the therapy!
Choose one of three room options - King Bed with ensuite, double room (double bed or 2 singles), or three-bed dorm room. Share the living space and outside facilities with other guests. Or for an exclusive experience hire the whole property out privately.
The main living area contains a A/C for hot summer days and a roaring pot-belly for winter, open plan living area, TV and internet. The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave and gas stove. The main bathroom/shower is an old converted rainwater tank with clear perspex roof allowing views of the forest. Truly unique.
Outdoor dining tables and lounges offer relaxing spaces to enjoy the serenity. Multiple hammocks are suspended in the forest; there is a fire pit and pizza oven for seasonal use. Outdoor lighting adds a festive and cosy atmosphere - relax, unwind and reconnect on K.I.
