Nestled in the bush, Emu Ridge as a hidden gem.

This unique attraction will show you how a traditional Aussie bush product is made, showing the past and present process of eucalyptus oil distilling. Eucalyptus oil was Australia’s first true export overseas and one of Kangaroo Islands major industries. Now the only remaining commercial eucalyptus oil distillery in South Australia proudly preserving a major part of Kangaroo Island’s heritage and history, producing a eucalyptus oil that is unique to the world. Emu Ridge manufacture and retail Eucalyptus oil and associated natural products in their large retail store.

Emu Ridge is also the Cellar Door for Kangaroo Island Ciders. A Tasting presentation and sales of the Award Winning Cider is available.

The Cafe has 3 different dining experiences plus picnic areas where you can enjoy their delicious food and drinks.
