Ritual is an intimate dining and wine bar hidden in the heart of Kingscote, offering heritage Polish and Italian foods complemented with coastal native ingredients, small-batch Australian wines and an ambience visitors describe as "deeply nourishing".
Set in a lovingly renovated 1950s residence just 300 metres from the waterfront, Ritual features a network of interesting dining areas including the gallery sunroom with cosy fireplace, a moody cocktail room, and sunny alfresco dining.
The menu changes with the mood of the island, and celebrates family recipes handed down through generations of women. Along with the all-day grazing menu, a feature dinner dish is offered each Friday and Saturday evening until sold out.
The wine list showcases Australian small and micro producers, and covers a wide range of regions and varietals including skin contact amber wines, pet nat and gewürztraminer among all the usuals. Signature cocktails, craft beers, ciders and quality non-alcoholic drinks also feature on the menu.
