Farm Gate Tour

Kangaroo Island Living Honey is a small family run business. All visitors are personally welcomed and catered to, this tour is very hands on and interactive for all participants.

When you arrive at the farm you will be ushered into the honey packing room where you will sit down and learn about the beehive, the bees in the hive and their life cycle. Hear about the amazing products the bees produce, how and why.

Once everything has been discussed and questions answered you will enter the extraction facility and see how the honey is removed from the frames via the extraction plant. Your guide will discuss the importance of Quality honey and the Ethical ways it is produced.

Leaving the extraction plant you will re-enter the packing room and see how the honey is packaged ready for the consumers. Then go to the shop where you are able to taste all the variety of flavors that are produced and have an opportunity to purchase products.
