Leaving the bustling CBD of Adelaide behind, our dedicated 4WD’s take you to the Cockle Town of Goolwa, about an hour’s drive. From Goolwa we embark on our fully catered tour vessel for the journey past the mouth of Australia’s longest river, the mighty Murray, stopping at our leisure, to enjoy this most remote part of South Australia. Over the next 5 hours, you will experience the Coorong in all its glory, under the watchful eye of local photographer Leon Meade. We will disembark at a remote location on Younghusband Peninsula to be immersed in this richly indigenous land before returning later in the afternoon, providing an opportunity for rich golden light to flood the waterways of the Coorong, capturing migratory birdlife and local flora and fauna.
