Event
Creative connections binds two generations of mother and daughter through fibre, paint. and pastel. Tanja Souter and her mother Dina Van der Gaag have combined their artistic talents to showcase respective work.
Tanja has developed her talents as an acrylic painter as well as pastels and her favourite subjects are pets. In future, she would like to do more landscapes as well as still life painting.
Dina van der Gaag's art revolves around textiles and fibres, which she has worked with all her life. Migrating from Holland to Australia in 1970 opened new horizons for her and she has been involved in spinning and weaving sharing her art by running fibre related workshops with the Adelaide Hills Hand-spinners and weavers Guild. She obtained her Diploma of Arts( Tapestry) in the early 2000's and has been involved in many group exhibitions and competitions.
