Accommodation
Tucked away about 13km south of Warooka (with 11km of unsealed road along Sturt Bay Road), Sturt Bay Bush Campground offers a peaceful, off-the-grid escape. The campsites are spacious, but the tight turning area may not suit larger caravans. All sites are unallocated, so it's first in, best dressed.
Just over the dunes lies Sturt Bay—a stunning stretch of coastline perfect for swimming, snorkelling, fishing, kayaking, or a relaxing beach walk. The beach is mostly sandy, with a nearby reef and occasional seaweed build-up.
A basic toilet is available, but campers are encouraged to be self-sufficient. For waste disposal, the nearest bin bank is located at the Warooka town oval. Warooka also offers essential services, including a supermarket, pharmacy, butcher, pub, petrol station, Visitor Information Outlet, and more.
