Ardrossan has many hand painted murals with spattering of Mosaic works.
The toilets in the Jetty carpark and under the bridge near the Ardrossan Caravan Park were done through an art exercise by the students from the Ardrossan Area School.
There is a scene depicting the area on the side of the Ardrossan Institute and also the Town Square boasts of paving bricks which have been decorated with mosaic scenes then and now around Ardrossan by another art class from Ardrossan Area School
The Ardrossan Hospital has a container unit which has a professionally painted Mural for the residents to admire.
The Ardrossan Caravan Park has a mosaic letterbox done by a resident of the park.
Two recently added murals are situated closer to town, one on the outer wall of the Men's Shed, next door to the RSL Restaurant: a large eye-catching mural also depicting the History of Ardrossan in Mining, agriculture and industry. The other is situated at Number 5 First Street depicting a historical scene of Old Holden Building, as it once was known. there is also a mural on the wall at the Pump Track on second Street
