Gunner Bills Heritage Centre is located in the Former Bute Police station. The building opened in Nov 1911 on Railway Tce in Bute.
Comprising a courtroom office, a 4 room attached residence, a cell block and horse stalls.
The station was closed in 1974 and handed to the care of Bute District Council. (now Barunga West Council)
Gunner Bills now houses a collection of Bute historic items, memorabilia, local art and craft. You will even find local pop up shops.
Each year Gunner Bills hosts "The Beaut day at Bute"
