The mural featuring 'Mum', a local osprey, was created by two female South Australian photographers, inspired by the beauty of Price and the endangered eastern osprey in South Australia. Price sits on Wills Creek Conservation Park, a mangrove forest home to many birds. This peaceful spot is enjoyed by locals and visitors.

In 2021, an artificial platform was installed by helicopter at Will Creek to create a safe area for a pair of osprey to breed. This has proven successful, and yearly chicks have fledged, increasing the numbers of these endangered species.
The pink salt ponds are part of Cheetham salt the cleats salt in the southern hemisphere. Together, this beauty is captured as a reflection of nature in Price's backyard.

Snap a picture next to the nest of baby osprey and offer to help feed them a fish. The osprey, a fish-eating raptor, is a skilled hunter.
Enjoy the art in a playground grassed environment near public amenities and a free BBQ.

Lauren Clift lives locally at Pine Point, and her talent lies in landscape droneography and event photography.
Fran Solly from Take2 Photography lives at Port Lincoln and has an interest in Price through her role as secretary of the Friends of Osprey Conservation Group. These pictures both kindly donated to the community making it the first piece of public art in Price.
