Stretching over 500 kilometres along the Yorke Peninsula's stunning coastline, the Walk the Yorke Leisure Trail invites walkers and cyclists to immerse themselves in samphire flats, mangroves, native bushland, and windswept dunes. From rugged cliffs to pristine beaches and hidden coves, the trail reveals some of South Australia's most breathtaking landscapes, with opportunities to spot dolphins, seabirds, and the region's rich agricultural heartland.
Along the way, trail markers, picnic areas, bench seats, and shelters with rainwater tanks provide comfort and guidance. Interpretive signage, developed with input from local Progress Associations, schools, and the Narungga people, shares local stories, history, and Dreaming knowledge, deepening your connection to the land.
Whether you're seeking a short stroll or an epic adventure, there's a section for everyone. For more details and topographical trail maps, visit the Yorke Peninsula Council website. A journey of discovery awaits!
